MUSIC IS BETTER TOGETHER.
We’re looking for young superstars who’ve always dreamed of being in a band. In our Rock Band program, you’ll have the chance to play your favorite songs with our expert tutors leading you every step of the way. You’ll forge fast friendships with your new bandmates, learn how to get in the groove together, and most importantly, have fun making music as a group. Keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, and vocals all welcome.
Band Dates / Times (2025 TERM THREE):
10-week term with first rehearsal starting 14th July and ending 21st September
Last Rehearsal 17th September (Wednesday band) (18th September Thursday bands)
Concert date 18th September (BOTH BANDS)
Wednesday Band (Band D):
Starting 16th July – 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Suitable for 9-18-year-olds, all experience levels welcome
Thursday (Band A):
Starting 17th July – 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Suitable for 9-18-year-olds, beginner to intermediate experience.
Thursday (Band C):
Starting 17th July – 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Suitable for 12-18-year-olds, beginner to intermediate experience.
Important Dates:
The final rehearsals will be in the week ending 21st September
The end-of-term concert will take place on Thursday, 18th September, from 5:00 pm
Fees:
$248 for the full program (8 one-hour sessions)
$165.3 for students already enrolled in individual lessons at Chiron Rock School.
TERM TWO ‘25: I’M WITH THE BAND
If you’re between the ages of 9 and 18, and you’ve got two years of individual instrument lessons in drums, bass, guitar, keys or vocals under your belt, we reckon you’re ready to take the next step and say, I’M WITH THE BAND.
Band Dates / Times:
9-week term with first rehearsal starting 30th of April and 1st of May
Last Rehearsal 18th June (Wednesday band) (19th June Thursday bands)
Concert date 26th of June (BOTH BANDS)

Starting 30th April – 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Suitable for 9-18-year-olds, all experience levels welcome

Starting 1st May – 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Suitable for 9-18-year-olds, beginner to intermediate experience.

TERM ONE ‘25: I’M WITH THE BAND
The program includes 8 one-hour sessions with an experienced live band tutor. You will work on selected songs, working towards a live performance at our end-of-term concert. This program is open to the public, meaning you don’t have to be enrolled in individual lessons at Chiron Rock School to participate. However, we recommend taking individual lessons with us at the same time to help you sound the best you can!
TERM Four ‘24: I’M WITH THE BAND

JAN ‘24 BAND CAMP: HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
CRS is proud to announce another Band Camp - not only will we investigate some great cover songs, but we want to bring your riff or song idea to life! Put on your creative hat, get in the zone, write that riff, and bring it to life with the whole band. You’ll get a huge kick out of hearing your own song being played live.
